Are you sure you know everything you need to start a great career as a radiography technician? But if you’re a high school graduate, you will not have enough training to choose this program, so you should get an associate or a bachelor degree.

A two-year associate degree is the most widespread option chosen by radiology technicians today. However, because it still fails to impress your future employer much, you should apply for certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Although radiology technician certification is optional for the associate degree and bachelor graduates, it will ensure better career opportunities and higher wages.

To begin your career of a radiology technician, you should send you resume in the hospitals and various medical centers. At first, you can not achieve unanimity, especially if you do not get your certification or do not have many years of experience. However, be firm and continue to apply and you will find a job.
