Pontotoc Technology Center announces 2011 students’ achievements
Pontotoc Technology Center in Ada recently presented its 2011 end- of-year achievement awards.
High School Student of the Year award went to Amy Ketcher, cosmetology.
Adult Student of the Year award was presented to Kayla McCullough, Licensed Practical Nurse.
Perfect Attendance for the Year awards went to John Balch, Brittany Faust, Rainer Gregory, Dillion Kirkland, Kayla McCullough, Zach Smith, Arlinda Tso and Laura Williamson.
Citizenship Award recognizes students who participate in school or community service, show a positive attitude toward classmates, school, and community, display an understanding and appreciation of civic responsibility, possess strength of character and the courage to do what is right, and to promote citizenship within the school. Receiving this award were Mark Bryant, Ricky Burgess, Garth Bynum, Jesse Cate, Amanda Davis, Brittany Faust, Derrek George, Rainer Gregory, Julia Hardin, Marissa Howard, Peyton Huggins, Dustin Keeling, Amy Ketcher, Veronica Marr, Kayla McCullough, Savina Miller, Kaylie Qualls, Audumn Rice, Marty Short and Arlinda Tso.
Student of the Month recognition was given to Mark Bryant, Bradianne Daniel, Carrie Holly, Peyton Huggins, Amy Ketcher, Kirsten Kimbrell, Alec Lancaster, Logan Lynch, Kayla McCullough, Jonathan Pedigo, Corey Stafford, Kacee Thompson and Pablo Vasquez.
