Local universities named to honor roll
CSU Channel Islands in Camarillo and California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks have been named to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll.
The honor roll recognizes universities that promote community service and civic engagement. CSU Channel Islands was recognized for the second year in a row.
Nationwide, 511 schools were honored this year.
